As its' name suggests, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) serves primarily pizzas and a wide selection of salads, pastas, soups, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts etc.
We ordered the Two in a Bowl where we could combine any two types of soup served in the same bowl. We opted for the Sedona Tortilla Soup and Dakota Smashed Pea and Barley Soup.
Sedona Tortilla Soup (Vine-ripened tomatoes, tomatillos and corn with mild green chiles and Southwestern spices. Garnished with crispy corn tortilla strips)

He has been to Sedona and has loved the Sedona Tortilla Soup ever since. He said this one at CPK is quite close to the one he had in Sedona.
I personally loved the soup, especially with the crispy corn tortilla strips. The Dakota Smashed Pea and Barley Soup was also a great choice. This soup was very smooth and it was a great pea, barley and herbs combination. Both types of soup are very highly recommended.

We ordered their Original BBQ Chicken Pizza, touted as their most popular pizza, introduced in their first restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1985. The Barbecue sauce was a bit sweet for my liking but I guess most Barbecue sauce is sweet anyway.

The linguine is cooked al dente just the way we liked them with a very generous serving of schrimps. We definitely liked the pasta more than the pizza.
