Good old Sigi's by the Sea at the Golden Sands Resort has reopened with a new look and new menu. Now named as the Sigi's Bar & Grill on the beach, it has an air-conditioned dining hall, upper deck and I think a new chef, Chef John Brock. It has also retained and incorporated some of the signature dishes from Peppino which has since ceased to operate.
Grilled Steak Sandwich - 140g sirlion, vine - ripened tomato, horseradish cream, garden salad and cream (RM34)
The steak was tender was juicy, just the way we liked it. Highly recommended.
Ginger & Orange Mojito (mint sprigs, lime wedges, cane sugar, orange slice and ginger beer)The Mojito was refreshing, just perfect for a hot sunny day.
