Ocean Green Restaurant & Seafood

Ocean Green Seafood Restaurant is undoubtedly one of the most famous seafood restaurants in Penang and has been around for a while.

We were there for lunch one day and ordered some of their most famous dishes. Their price has always been in the upper range so we were not very surprised when the bill came to ~RM1,000 for 12 pax, including drinks.

Steamed Gobi with Soy Sauce (served with boiled beehoon)

Stir Fried Crab with Salted Egg Yolk

Deep Fried Spring Chicken and Inchi Kabin

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab

Stir Fried Kailan with Topshell and Hawaiian Nuts

Kerabu Tofu

Deep Fried Spring Rolls (Choon Piah)

Lobster Thermidor

Boiled Fresh Tiger Prawns

Sizzling Oyster with Egg

Overall food was good especially the Sizzling Oyster with Egg, Boiled Fresh Tiger Prawns, Steamed Gobi with Soy Sauce, Kerabu Tofu, Lobster Thermidor and Stir Fried Kailan with Topshell and Hawaiian Nuts. Some find the salted egg yolk a bit overwhelming for the Stir Fried Crab dish but I love salted egg yolk so I wasn't complaining :)

The Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab were unfortunately not crispy enough to some. Personally, we felt that the Deep Fried Spring Chicken were a bit overrated and we have had better Inchi Kabin elsewhere.
P/S: Sorry, picture quality not exactly great because I took them in a hurry :(
