Gelatissimo is a gelato franchised store which orginates from Australia. According to its website http://www.gelatissimo.com.au/, they now have some 30 stores in Australia and parts of Asia.
A Gelatissimo store has recently opened in Gurney Plaza. It took over the lot which used to be occupied by Missy Donut at the al-fresco area.
They have quite a variety of flavours and we opted for our favourites: Rum Raisin, Macadamia & Caramel and Belgian Chocolate. The gelato is very smooth and creamy. The best part is, according to their website, the sorbet range is 100% fat free and the premium dairy range is between 90-97% fat free. ;)
The price is reasonable too. We paid RM16.90 for three scoops of gelato. Definitely highly recommended!
