Jogoya

Jogoya is a chain of Japanese buffet restaurants which originated from Taiwan.

Jogoya's first restaurant outside of Taiwan was opened in Malaysia in January 2006 at the Relish Floor of Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur.

The restaurant is packed even on weekdays and advanced booking is recommended to avoid dissapointment or long wait.

The buffet lines which go around the restaurant are very extensive. The sashimi and sushi line is very impressive with an abundance of fresh oysters, prawns, fish etc. They also serve Chinese sitr fry and claypot dishes, Teppanyaki, Western, dim sum, steamed soup, local dishes etc.

Another interesting thing about the restaurant is there are a few little clips on every table for you to order your food. You only have to drop the clip into bowls found in front of dish samples you wish to try and the chef will prepare the dish for you. The clip will then be returned to the table when your dish is served so you will never run out of clips. The ordering system for freshly cooked dishes is very orderly and systematic.

Haagen-Dazs ice cream lovers will appreciate the Haagen-Dazs ice-cream station with a variety of flavours. They also serve free flow of wine, cocktail, fresh coconut juice etc.

The buffet starts from 68++ to 88++ depending on the time of the day.
