The Gertak Sanggul Fishing Store is the only pay-and-fish pond on the Penang island. There is a seafood restaurant right next to the pond. This is our all-time favourite seafood restaurant eventhough we have to drive quite a distance to reach the place. (View its location on wikimapia)

Prawns Steamed in Egg

This is a highly recommended dish. The prawns and egg are steamed with a hint of Chinese wine.

This is another must-have dish as the squid batter is crunchy on the outside and the squid juicy on the inside.

Overall, every dish is good and price reasonable. Another must try dish is the Salted Egg Crab which we did not order that evening.

P/S: It may be a good idea to bring along mosquito repellent as there could sometimes be a lot of mosquitoes at night
